Want to help advance research on cardiovascular disease? Join the Biobank project.

To take part, you must complete a series of steps. First, you register on site. Please bring along your red MHI card and a list of medications you take. Also, be ready to provide your medical history and your family’s medical history (parents, siblings, children).

You must sign a consent form to participate in the project. You are then interviewed by a nurse and give a blood sample. Afterward, the Biobank team processes your sample (it extracts DNA, stores the sample and provides quality control).

By taking part, you help expand scientific knowledge of cardiovascular health.

The Biobank wouldn’t exist without our participants. We are very grateful to them for their enthusiastic support.
