Marie-Claude Guertin completed her Ph.D. in statistics in 1999 at Université de Montréal and joined the Montreal Heart Institute in 2001, where she contributed to the development of the department of biostatistics at the MHICC (Montreal Health Innovations Coordinating Center). At the head of this department, Dr Guertin oversees statistical aspects of many clinical trials and research projects. She co-authored many articles in specialized journals.
