Mission
The Cardiac Ultrasound Service of the Montreal Heart Institute conducts various procedures:
- Transesophageal echocardiography
- Transthoracic echocardiography
- Pharmacologic echocardiography (dobutamine or Persantine®)
- Stress echocardiography (treadmill or bicycle ergometer/bicycle)
These services are offered to clients of the Montreal Heart Institute who are referred by specialists as well as to external clients referred from private doctors' offices.
