The Coronary Care Unit
The coronary care unit is located on the 5th
floor of the east block. It has 21 beds, 5 of which are for
intensive care patients
.
Specific Mission of the Coronary Care
Unit
The coronary care unit personnel delivers specialized and
ultra-specialized care to patients suffering from an acute
coronary syndrome.
In order to offer the most effective therapies, the
type of care provided by the personnel stems from the most recent
scientific developments supported by constant research.
The unit's health care workers contribute to the
training of health care professionals from various disciplines in
relation to cardiology services at the collegial and university
levels.
