Full Professor, Department of Medicine at Université de Montréal
An active medical staff member in the Department of Medicine and Cardiologyat the Montreal Heart Institute (MHI), Dr. Racine has also been Chief of the Department of Medicine at the MHI from 2006 until 2015. After earning his medical degree in 1983 from Université de Montréal, Dr. Racine received a specialized certificate in cardiology in 1989 from McGill University. He has been at the head of the Philippa and Marvin Carsley Cardiology Chair at Université de Montréal until 2015. He is a full professor of medicine at Université de Montréal since 2009 and is the author of many scientific publications. His research interests are in the area of heart failure and heart transplantation.
