Luc Bilodeau ,  M.D

Mon équipe s'intéresse particulièrement à la recherche clinique, à la modélisation animale et au développement de biomatériaux en cardiologie interventionnelle.  L'ensemble des travaux s'attarde à la recherche de nouvelles applications, au raffinement des techniques et à l'établissement de nouveaux concepts par le traitement minimalement invasif percutané de la maladie coronaire, des valvulopathies, de la maladie vasculaire périphérique et de la défaillance cardiaque. 

Nous travaillons actuellement au raffinement des endoprothèses coronariennes médicamentées pour prévenir le phénomène de resténose.  Nous avons un programme de recherche en thérapie génique pour l'angine réfractaire.  Nous élaborons avec des partenaires de l'industrie une nouvelle génération de laser à froid pour le traitement des artères totalement occluses.  Nous oeuvrons également à développer une technique d'annuloplastie mitrale percutanée.
