Quality of services

Are you satisfied with the care and services you received at the Montreal Heart Institute? Please – let us know!

Client satisfaction is a core concern for all staff at the Montreal Heart Institute. Our team of competent professionals is dedicated to offering the best possible care and services, in a manner that is respectful and humane.

Your comments are welcome at all times and appreciated by employees who work daily to ensure the health and well-being of our clients and deliver quality services.

Are you not satisfied with your experience at the Montreal Heart Institute?

Again, we want to know. In spite of considerable efforts by our staff to treat and/or relieve the symptoms associated with your illness, it is possible that you may not be satisfied with the care and services you received or should have received.

The Montreal Heart Institute also recognizes and encourages its patients to openly express their dissatisfaction. Lodging a complaint can be a constructive gesture, as it gives patients a chance to help improve the quality of our services.

To lodge a complaint, please follow the steps below:

  1. First, discuss the matter with the staff member concerned or ask to meet the person in charge of the department or service where you received care. This simple approach often suffices to resolve the matter.

  2. Failing Step 1, or if the complaint concerns a physician, please contact with Local Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner.

The Local Service Quality and Complaints Commissioner answers to the board of directors in regards to patients’ rights, patient satisfaction and the timely processing of complaints. She works independently of administrative structures.

Note that your complaint will be processed in the strictest confidentiality, and the Commissioner will ensure that you are not subject to retaliation stemming from your complaint.
