Description of additional activities:
Exercice on swiss ball
The focus here is on muscle strengthening and relaxation.
Tones both the functional and postural muscles, primarily through
the use of Swiss balls. Specially developed to improve balance
and stability. Adequately works the various muscle groups.
Mix it up
A class that includes out-of-the-ordinary, complete and
dynamic cardiovascular exercise and strength training!
Get ready to ski
This class starts with a warm up and moves on to dynamic
and varied strength training exercises with tips on technique.
Get ready to cycle
Strength training and flexibility exercises geared
specifically to cycling.
Aquafitness
A dynamic and challenging workout. On the menu: movement
in the pool, aerobic and strength training exercises, all to
energizing music. The class ends with a relaxing cool down
Advanced Aquafitness
Intence workout with energizing music.
Aquajogging
A dynamic and challenging workout in the
deep section of the pool. The exercises are done with a
safety belt. The class ends with a relaxing cool down.
Toning plus
Complete strength training with a wide variety of exercises
to be performed with and without equipment (exercise tubing,
light weights, Swiss ball, small ball, bar).
Advanced toning plus
Warm up - Exercise - Stretching
Exercise: Boot camp style circuit training, on a stability
board with a Swiss ball.
Tai Chi
Introduction to Tai Chi breathing techniques, postures and
methods. Learn the basic movements of Yang family Tai Chi in a
calm and relaxing atmosphere.
Weight lifting
Individual training to help participants improve muscle
tone or prepare for a sporting activity. Meet with a trainer who
will develop your personalized program.
Dancing and rythm
Dance class with various steps : salsa, aerobic, cha
cha, african rythm...Pleasure and carelessness are
obligatory.
Flexibility
This class involves a series of stretches specific to each
muscle done to soft music. Sure to give you a feeling of well
being!
Pilates
The Pilates method aims to achieve a balance between
strength and flexibility to improve endurance, posture, muscle
control and mobility. Participants spend the majority of each
class on an exercise mat and are encouraged to evelop an
awareness of their body in movement and their breathing, and to
achieve optimal body
movement.
Spinning
Workout on a stationary bicycle with
various runs (ascent, decent, sprint...).
