ÉPIC Centre
The ÉPIC Centre's
mission is to:
- Offer primary and secondary services for the prevention of
cardiovascular disease by promoting personal health and well
being and the benefits related to adopting a healthy
lifestyle.
- Educate individuals on the risk factors associated with
cardiovascular disease by putting together a multi-disciplinary
team specializing in disease prevention. This team evaluates,
treats and corrects, in as much as it is possible, the risk
factors for cardiovascular disease.
- Participate in the education and training of health care
professionals and to lead research in the prevention of
cardiovascular disease.
- Evaluate and develop new technologies and forms of
treatment.
The Centre ÉPIC fulfils its mission while respecting
