For visitors, the cafeteria is located on the first floor of the Paul P. David Pavilion. The cafeteria is open from 5:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. and from 12:00 a.m. to 3:00 a.m. The cafeteria provides full meals and has a sandwich bar, a hot vegetarian bar and a salad bar.
Out of a concern for the environment, Food Services tries to reduce the use of disposable utensils and dishes and excess packaging and has partnered with a company that supplies environmentally friendly cleaning products.

The mission of Food Services at the MHI is to provide quality meals to cafeteria clients. Using an innovative approach, the department took a healthy turn in 2005 even before the governmental action plan “Miser sur une saine alimentation : une question de qualité” was implemented. Following the regional implementation of the action plan, Food Services officially launched its food policy in March 2011.

The menu was changed to include meals that are part of the Mediterranean diet, which emphasizes fish, legumes and whole grain products. The cafeteria has a trove of foods that will let you make healthy choices at each meal. You can also get frozen meals that are made on site and that are MHI-certified!
