How to help the Institute
The Montréal Heart Institute has been
fortunate enough to count on the generosity of its Foundation to
help it maintain and develop its activities.
The mandate of the Montréal Heart
Institute Foundation (MHIF) is to raise and administer funds from
various sources to support the MHI's research and technology
development, and thereby contribute to the excellence of an
institution that serves all Quebeckers.
An important lever for seeking out funding from
public and private partners, the Foundation provides support that
is essential to enabling the Institute to remain a leader in
patient care, research, teaching and the prevention of heart
disease.
Since it was first created in 1977, the MHIF has
raised more than $70 million for the Institute, helping it to
pursue and develop its activities. It is one of the most active
foundations in Montréal.
