An Ultramodern Imaging Department

Our department is equipped with the most innovative technology. Completely digitized, from chest x-rays to advanced cardiovascular techniques and ultrasound, it meets the highest quality standards that require specific training provided entirely by the MHI. Our radiology technologists work in close collaboration with a very specialized team of doctors and professionals in a stimulating environment.

Most members of our team are specialized technologists. Under the supervision of cardiologists and radiologists, they perform cardiovascular ultrasounds, venous and arterial dopplers, abdomen ultrasounds, thoracic, abdominal, cardiac and cerebral CT scans, and cardiac and vascular MRIs. They assist radiologists during angiography procedures and work in cath labs. The work is done mostly during the day shift, since only one permanent technologist is available to provide service during the evening shift. At night, an emergency on-call system is in place.

The MHI research centre offers technologists the opportunity to participate in diverse activities. Our goal is to provide high quality health care services.

The Research Centre gives technologists the opportunity to become involved in various studies, using computer software to take very precise measurements of the coronary arteries, coronary bypasses, and sometimes other vessels. These measurements can be taken from digitized angiography images or intravascular echograms. Our objective is to ensure the well being of our patients and provide them with the best possible care.
